1994

After a two-year R&D period DQ Technologies introduced the DQ2000 Take-Off and Quoting System in March of 1994.
The underlying reason for the success of the DQ2000 Estimating System came from our unique understanding of “how estimators did take-offs”. The kind of understanding that comes from the years of real life operations experience garnered by the staff at DQ Technologies. Even though the number of employees has grown significantly over the years, we continue to add employees with “real business” experience to ensure we maintain an intuitive understanding of our client needs.

1996

Introduced Graphics Aided Estimating. This greatly simplified the most difficult aspect of blue print take offs, Roof take-offs.

2000

Introduced ODT our order delivery tracking product. ODT gave everyone in the organization a “real time” view of what was happening with orders. Perhaps more importantly it provided a true understanding of delivery cost and identified where management needed to focus attention to reduce cost.

2001

Introduced GPS tracking using Nextel phones.
This offered an inexpensive alternative to what at the time were expensive hard mounted GPS systems.

2002

Introduced “Proof of delivery” using photos, signature capture, and GPS coordinates.

2002

Introduced VMRecords a product designed to track maintenance cost and PMs for equipment throughout the organization.

2004

Introduced a mounted black box GPS solution that was comparable in price to phone based GPS systems and far more reliable.

2006

Introduced CommForce\TrackForce a mobile workforce system. Initially designed to meet the needs of the telecommunications industry (CommForce) it quick progressed to serve the needs of any organization with a mobile field workforce (TrackForce)

2007

Introduced In-Vehicle Navigation with turn-by-turn directions via Garmin™ Portable Navigation Device

2008

Introduced “Dynamic Geo-Fencing”. This removed the need for any actions by the driver.
The departure, delivery and return to the yard are all automatically recorded without input from the driver.

2008

Introduced Advanced Routing.
A fully automated fleet routing system with flexibility, designed to optimize your delivery fleet

2009

Introduced the “Service Matrix” module for CommForce\TrackForce.
This automatically creates orders for every step in the workflow.

2011

ODTMobile
The release of Order Delivery Tracking (ODT) Android application, ODTMobile. This App is designed to work in conjunction with ODT and TF allowing businesses to manage and track their delivery business with a high degree of precision.

2012

Additional Support Office Location Opens
Opening of a new support office in the Boise, ID area.
The new office will work with new and existing customers to provide installations assistance and on-going technical support of DQ’s full suite of software.

2013

DQ Technologies sold DQ2000 to DQ Estimating in order to focus on Dispatch and GPS Tracking solutions – company sees significant growth.
DQT releases ODTView. ODTView is a new application that replaces the full ODT client for non‐Dispatch/Manager level users who only need to be able to inquire/look up where orders are in the delivery process.

2014

ODTWeb Maps, web based GPS tracking and reporting is now available for all customers via dqtech.com
