After a two-year R&D period DQ Technologies introduced the DQ2000 Take-Off and Quoting System in March of 1994.
The underlying reason for the success of the DQ2000 Estimating System came from our unique understanding of “how estimators did take-offs”. The kind of understanding that comes from the years of real life operations experience garnered by the staff at DQ Technologies. Even though the number of employees has grown significantly over the years, we continue to add employees with “real business” experience to ensure we maintain an intuitive understanding of our client needs.
1996
Introduced Graphics Aided Estimating. This greatly simplified the most difficult aspect of blue print take offs, Roof take-offs.
2000
Introduced ODT our order delivery tracking product. ODT gave everyone in the organization a “real time” view of what was happening with orders. Perhaps more importantly it provided a true understanding of delivery cost and identified where management needed to focus attention to reduce cost.
2001
Introduced GPS tracking using Nextel phones.
This offered an inexpensive alternative to what at the time were expensive hard mounted GPS systems.

2008
Introduced “Dynamic Geo-Fencing”. This removed the need for any actions by the driver.
The departure, delivery and return to the yard are all automatically recorded without input from the driver.
2008
Introduced Advanced Routing.
A fully automated fleet routing system with flexibility, designed to optimize your delivery fleet
2009
